As far as fans are concerned, the life of an NFL player is split between the person that they are on the field, and the person that they are on the sidelines. Many people marvel at a player’s ability to be fiery and tenacious on the field, but give a coherent interview after the game.
But there’s actually a third side of players that we rarely see: the way that they interact with their families. Head coach Mike Shanahan discussed the value of the bye week for catching up with family, and thanks to twitter, we can take a look inside the players’ trips home:
