The holidays are traditionally a time of family, faith and football.  For Redskins free safety Oshiomogho Atogwe, today’s game will features two-out-of-three: family and football.

Atogwe is the son-in-law of Hall Of Fame linebacker and Vikings linebacker coach Mike Singletary.  Atogwe sat down with the folks at Women Of the Washington Redskins ( to discuss his anticipation of today’s game and how he’ll interact with his in-laws:

“He’s gonna be in the booth, so you won’t see anything,” he said.  “But it is going to be a heated competition.”

Atogwe also noted that faith is an element of his pregame rituals, as he says prayers and quotes scripture before the game.  So, I guess all three elements of faith, family and football will be at play for Atogwe today.

He says that Graham Gano can’t dance, but I’m not sold on Atogwe’s singing skills either.  Make sure you check out the rest of his interview with WOWRedskins for the inside scoop.
