Make An Accurate Mock Draft, Win Prizes

AP Image

With one week to go before the start of the 2012 NFL Draft, almost every possible angle has been taken with regards to Redskins mock drafts.

That is, every angle except yours.

Now, you have the opportunity to predict that first round of the NFL Draft and possibly win prizes from the fine people over at ESPN.  You have full access to any eligible player in this year’s draft, and can pick a straight-forward or off-the-wall draft board.

Here’s the deal:

No purchase necessary.

You’ll get four points for correctly matching the player with the actual draft slot, three points for being one off the actual slot, two points for being two off the actual slot and one point for being three off the actual slot. Remember, you’re matching the player with the draft slot, not necessarily the team (as that can change during the draft because of a trade).

The person with the most points at the end of the first round wins a $2,000 gift card to Best Buy.

So if you predict that Robert Griffin III will go second overall, but the Redskins will trade back to No. 16, you may still be right (just kidding).  The key to winning is balancing some combination of the right player to the right team at the right pick.

Good luck, happy picking, and feel free to share your illustrious predictions in the comment section below.  Your board might look something like this (but it’s just an example):
