The Redskins officially opened their home-away-from-home today, celebrating the grand opening of the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center this afternoon in Richmond.
Here’s a live look behind the scenes of the festivities:
The team welcomed the media and distinguished guests to the grounds of the brand new, state-of-the-art training center, set to host the Washington Redskins training camp beginning on July 25.
The ceremony included much fanfare, including a rendition of the Redskins’ Fight Song played by the Richmond All-City High School Marching Band, the National Anthem as sung by Richmond’s own Elliott Yamin, and comments from dignitaries and celebrities including former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann.
