Griffin III Comes Home To Redskins Park

After a day of plane tracking, Twitter photos, and blog teasers, new Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has finally come home to roost at Redskins Park.

Griffin arrived with his family at the facilities late this afternoon and was escorted around his new place of employment by the Redskins brass.  This was his second trip to the facilities, but the first wearing a Redskins emblem.  The last time he came by was several weeks ago for his official visit with the team.

This visit was a lot less awkward, and lot more exciting for everyone involved.

Redskins broadcaster Larry Michael and Jordan Beane made the trip up to New York early this morning in order to document the Griffin trip back to Washington.  Here’s a video recap of the first of many Redskins days with Robert Griffin III:

  4. RG, YOU DRINK FROM WATERS YOU HAVE NOT BUILT OR PURIFIED,
BUT IT IS THOSE WHO DID, THROUGH BLOOD, SWEAT, AND PROTEST
THAT PRAY FOR YOU NOW, MAKE US, AND YOUR FAMILY PROUD, AND ADD YOUR MORTER TO THAT WELL.

  5. I’ve been a Skins fan since 1972, I was in 2nd grade, lost a bet with a classmate when they played the Dolphins in the Super Bowl. I had to take the Skins, and I’ve been a fan since. I’m now almost 49, and love em’ as much as I ever did. RG3, It’s awesome! I haven’t been this excited in a long time, I wish him the best, and hopes he enjoys playing in DC, and may we win multiple Super Bowls with him. I think his Smile is infectious! The face of our Franchise, and I can’t imagine it being better than RG3 with his big smile!
